Daviot Church

This wee kirk was always a landmark - even a sort of 'lighthouse' in former years for travellers coming north on the twisty and undulating A9 road from Perth (pre road upgrading). Coming abreast the Meallmore Brae and seeing this landmark on the opposite side of the glen meant it was only another couple of hairpin bends, intersting descents and arduous ascents before Inverness was finally reached. It's a lovely little church in quite an exposed location.
