Opened in November 1938, the former Palace cinema once seated 1,023 patrons. It closed as a cinema in 1963, becoming a bingo hall. It remained as such until 2006. It now lies empty, but planning permission has been given for the building to be demolished and a hotel built in its place. This picture is shot from the ramparts of Inverness Castle.
