Lochan in Fairy Glen

This lochan or man made pool in the Fairy Glen at Rosiemarkie is fed by a lade from the main Eathie Burn which runs through the glen.It has perhaps been used to store water for mills further down the burn nearer the village. The glen is truly a magical place with a great variety of trees, some of considerable height.
